Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Senior Project Analyst (Project Analysis, Senior Analyst) to support our Corporate Service Center (CSC) from one of our Lexington Park, MD locations.
This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 2-3 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for all program level financial analysis and reporting.

The MIL Corporation seeks a Senior Project Analyst (Project Analysis, Senior Analyst) to support our Corporate Service Center (CSC) from one of our Lexington Park, MD locations.

Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for all program level financial analysis and reporting.
Requirements may include:
- Manage program costs through effective revenue and profit recognition
- Conduct financial analyses, including trends, variances, and risk assessments
- Monitor program and project budgets, including tracking spend approaching 75 percent
- Support forecasting, customer reporting, invoicing, annual planning, and monthly forecasts
- Lead forecast reviews with senior leadership and provide guidance on monthly performance
- Prepare Risk Authorizations when funding is exhausted
- Prepare and review Financial Status Reports, financial matrices, invoices, cost segregation, and other required documentation
- Submit and track material and travel commitments for COR approval
- Support project kickoffs and development of work breakdown structures
- Complete AP coding for subcontractor and vendor invoices
- Support the monthly close process
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Ensure program compliance with FAR and GAAP requirements
Travel

Required Qualifications
- 5-10 yrs experience in government and commercial contracting with a background in Finance
- Knowledge of government contracts
- Knowledge of Costpoint & Power BI
- Excellent Microsoft Excel & communication skills
Desired
- FAR and GAAP regulations knowledge
- Pigment forecasting experience
Education
