Job Description:
We are seeking a Security Architect who is responsible for architecture and design of secure infrastructure and applications across cloud and on-premises environments. Your day-to-day work will involve architecting robust security frameworks for platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring that network protocols, firewalls, and segmentation strategies are optimized to protect sensitive data and systems. To excel in this position, you should have hands-on experience with both defensive and offensive security measures, including penetration testing, vulnerability management, and malware analysis. Familiarity with SIEM systems will enable you to monitor and respond to threats effectively, while a strong grasp of cryptographic protocols will help you safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
Your ability to conduct risk analysis, ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST 800-171), and provide strategic leadership will be crucial in shaping the organization’s security posture. Exposure to tools and processes such as privilege management platforms, network segmentation technologies, and automated security orchestration will further enhance your effectiveness in this multifaceted role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and architect secure cloud and network architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for network segmentation, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
- Conduct risk analysis and vulnerability assessments, and provide recommendations to mitigate identified threats.
- Oversee and participate in penetration testing, vulnerability management, and malware analysis to proactively identify and address security gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance on security architecture, risk management, and incident response planning.
