Master Planner

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Master Planner for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Must have an active secret clearance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Experiences with cost and/or schedule
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs
• Deliver presentations to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
• Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost. Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
• Candidate will have experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
• Candidate will develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
• Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required. Must be self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and • Scheduling hands on experience. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
• Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
• Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
• Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
• Demonstrated Experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report)
• Experience with Milestones Professional software
• Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
• Experience working Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs
