Leidos is looking for a Senior IT Asset Manager to support hardware asset lifecycle management for a customer within the Department of Justice. The Senior IT Asset Manager will be responsible for managing the complete life cycle of software and hardware assets within the IT organization. Responsibilities include tracking, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets in compliance with government regulations.
This role is designed for an experienced IT Asset Manager with the ability to design, implement, and oversee the IT Asset lifecycle for all hardware and software. This includes process development and improvement as well as significant input into and operation of IT Asset Management information systems like ServiceNow.
The individual in this role will be responsible for leading an asset management team of 2-3 as well as ensuring the entire organization complies with established asset management practices.

Leidos is looking for a Senior IT Asset Manager to support hardware asset lifecycle management for a customer within the Department of Justice. The Senior IT Asset Manager will be responsible for managing the complete life cycle of software and hardware assets within the IT organization. Responsibilities include tracking, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets in compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full life cycle of software and hardware asset management including tracking, discovery, analyzing, reporting, compliance, upgrades, and disposal utilizing the customer organization’s asset management systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the development and operation of asset management and service management systems, like ServiceNow.
- Lead a team of 2-3 asset managers in executing the responsibilities listed below.
- Execute and support internal audits and external vendor audits of software and hardware on an ongoing basis to ensure license compliance, version control, and end-of-life upgrade protection.
- Review, approve, and support end user requests for software licensing using the approved ITSM.
- Manage the response to requests from end users, managers, developers, etc. for specific software licensing and/or hardware information.
- Support and maintain software and hardware asset records within ServiceNow IT Asset Management.
- Enter and maintain software and hardware inventory information in asset management system.
Required Qualifications:
- BA degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience OR Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education, and training and/or additional years of relevant experience may be considered/accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must be willing to work primarily onsite in Washington, DC.
- Experience in collaborating and coordinating with a cross-matrix organization to ensure adherence to asset management processes and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work/collaborate with different contractor and government teams as well as industry and vendors with a high level of professionalism, good judgment, and tact.
- Experience using ServiceNow IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software).
- Active Public Trust Clearance or Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be U.S. Citizen.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DOJ programs of record.
- Experience leading projects involving large scale facility moves or new facility stand-up.
- Familiarity with earned value management, integrated master schedules, or production execution environments.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
