Torch Technologies is currently seeking a Stinger Modeling and Simulation Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will help maintain the current suite of US ARMY Project Office supported simulations and provide guidance for government use.

Torch Technologies is currently seeking a Stinger Modeling and Simulation Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will help maintain the current suite of US ARMY Project Office supported simulations and provide guidance for government use.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The candidate will support software development to meet government customers' needs and implement solutions to address software related requirements for multiple execution environments.
- The candidate will be part of a team developing, testing, and integrating new and existing modeling and simulation tools.
- The candidate should be self-motivated. Qualified candidates will work within a collaborative team environment composed of government and supporting contractor personnel.
Job Requirements:
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline from an accredited university.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with Hardware in the Loop and Processor in the Loop missile simulations, including Stinger.
- The candidate must have excellent communication, organizational and technical writing skills.
- Candidates must have experience in software development using high-level languages such as C++, Python, and familiar with FORTRAN in primarily a Linux environment.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with modeling hardware in a real time environment using multiple threads and and interfacing with multiple real time interfaces.
- Familiarity with and preferably experience with the FORTRAN and PERL programming language
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, subversion, etc.
- The ability to react quickly to changing engineering challenges and mission requirements.
- Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance is required for ongoing employment in this position.
