TITLE: Project Engineer

Work Location: Chelmsford, MA

Required: Secret Clearance

W2 Hourly Contract Only

Work Schedule: 4/10A-1st Shift

Hourly Rate Range: $60.00 - $67.00 with limited benefits

We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Secret Cleared Project Engineer in Chelmsford, MA

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience or a Masters with 1-3 years
  • Experience building relationships across functional teams
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience


Desired skills:
  • Project Management proficiency and experience with Earned Value Measurement (EVMS).
  • Experience working in defense company with engineering or manufacturing background.
  • Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) experience a plus.


Responsibilities:

You will serve as a Project Engineer, supporting the Integration & Test Equipment (IT&E) Department. In this role you will plan, organize, track, and report on activities for Advanced Programs (AP). Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Serving as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for AP
  • Maintaining and updating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring alignment with milestones and resource plans
  • Acting as the primary material procurement liaison for AP, overseeing requisitions, receipt verification, and kitting operations
  • Identifying and driving continuous process improvement initiatives that boost project execution, efficiency, and improve documentation quality.
  • Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM) for Advanced Programs.
  • Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for Advanced Test Equipment (ATE) programs; ensuring alignment with milestones and resource plans.
  • Act as primary material procurement liaison for Advanced Programs, overseeing requisitions, receipt verification, and kitting operations. Identify and drive continuous process improvement initiatives that boost project execution efficiency and improve documentation quality.
