The ideal candidate will bring strong avionics electronics design experience, prior ownership as a responsible engineer or technical lead, and the ability to support full lifecycle activities from requirements and design through integration, test, and product certification in a highly regulated aerospace and defense setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Design and capture electrical schematics for complex avionics CCAs and guide associated board layouts to meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements

Perform electronics analyses including Worst Case Analysis (WCA) and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis (EPSA) to validate design robustness under mission environments

Lead and contribute on cross-functional teams to develop and integrate avionics systems, collaborating with systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering

Resolve test anomalies and support troubleshooting efforts at the board and system levels, recommending and implementing corrective actions

Generate, review, and present product certification data and documentation in support of internal and customer design reviews

Support system-level integration and testing activities, ensuring hardware meets requirements and interfaces correctly with higher-level assemblies

Serve as a technical lead or responsible engineer for assigned hardware, providing guidance to junior engineers and coordinating technical efforts across the team

Support evaluation and verification of design requirements, including traceability, sell-off, and closure of verification activities

Interface with program management, peers, and customer representatives to communicate technical status, risks, and mitigation plans

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
