Location: King of Prussia, PA
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)
Pay: Depending on experience
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Staff DevSecOps Engineer to support advanced space and national security programs within a highly classified aerospace and defense environment. This role is responsible for supporting DevSecOps infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipeline execution, cloud and containerized environments, and secure software deployment initiatives supporting mission-critical space operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with infrastructure automation, Kubernetes environments, cloud technologies, Agile development practices, and secure software engineering methodologies within classified environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Support DevSecOps infrastructure and secure software deployment activities across classified space and defense programs
• Maintain and improve development infrastructure supporting software engineering and mission operations teams
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated deployment and operational efficiency
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives utilizing technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
• Support Kubernetes and containerized application environments including Docker and Helm
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, and mission stakeholders
• Support cloud and platform technologies including AWS, OpenStack, and Platform-as-a-Service environments
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps automation supporting highly available mission-critical systems
• Support secure software engineering practices and compliance within classified environments
• Participate in Agile engineering teams supporting collaborative software development execution
• Support system administration activities across development and operational environments
• Research and integrate emerging technologies into DevSecOps and software development processes
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues within complex engineering environments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
• Experience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation environments
• Hands-on experience with Git, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• Experience with automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
• Experience supporting AWS, OpenStack, or related cloud environments
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Ability to support development infrastructure and system administration activities
• Active Top Secret Clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility and potentially CI Polygraph eligibility
• U.S. Citizenship required
Additional Qualifications
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps deployment methodologies
• Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
• Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) experience preferred
• Familiarity with secure software engineering and DevSecOps best practices
• Experience supporting highly classified aerospace, defense, or national security programs
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering environments
• Security+ certification preferred
• Experience supporting operational space systems, mission applications, or secure defense environments preferred
