THE WORK
HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) Contract Academic and Simulator Instructor Pilot. This position is located at Kirtland AFB (KAFB), Albuquerque, New Mexico. Provide HH-60W pilot instruction to active duty aircrew in systems, flight operations and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) in the classroom, simulator and static aircraft on the flight line. Assist Instructional Systems Designers (ISD) as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of classroom and simulator lessons and student and instructor guides. Performs other related duties as directed by the KAFB CRH Site Manager and Interim Contract Support (ICS) Manager

Basic Qualifications:
-U.S. military Rotary Wing (RW) UH-60M, HH-60G, and HH-60W aircraft
-Previous 8 years or within previous 6 years, if candidate has performed 11 years of military operational flying duty at the time of hire.-Must have minimum of 2300 hours total pilot time in U.S military RW aircraft.
-Must have a minimum of 700 hours of instructor time in U.S. military (RW) aircraft.
-Must have over 500 hours of Night Vision Goggle (NVG) time.
-Must become familiar with and be capable of instructing required crew positions.
-Must have working knowledge of all appropriate current Air Education and Training Command (AETC)/Major Command (MAJCOM) regulations.
-Must understand, speak, read and write in English for effective communications with all crewmembers. --Applicants selected will be subject to a United States Government (USG) security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be able to obtain an Interim Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a security clearance requires US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Previous United States Air Force (USAF) or United States Army (USA) pilot experience in the HH-60G, UH-60M, or HH-60W aircraft. Previous Aircrew Training Device (ATD) flight instructor experience. Have instructed Day/Night Tactical Water Operations (DWOPS/NWOPS), Day/Night Tactical Operations (DTAC/NTAC), Day/Night Remote Operations, Contact/Emergency (CEP) procedures, Helicopter Aerial Refueling (HAAR), Fixed Forward Fire (FFF), Shipboard Operations and Instrument Procedures. Familiar with pilot crew duties and responsibilities. Working computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
