Description:Aero Capture Excellence Lead
What You Will Be Doing
The Aero Capture Excellence/Operations lead will drive the implementation of capture best practices and support day-to-day execution in the pursuit of new and follow-on business opportunities across all Aeronautics Lines of Business. In this role, the successful candidate will be accountable for:
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development leads and capture teams to ensure end-to-end alignment of enterprise win plans while supporting the development and execution of capture plans across multiple opportunity types, including Rapid Acquisition, OTA, CSO, and International pursuits.
- Lead and facilitate capture activities and reviews, including customer value workshops, decision-mapping sessions, win-strategy development workshops, Gold Team reviews, Independent Lessons Learned (IL2) reviews, internal gate reviews (interest, pursue, strategy, and bid/no-bid), Aero internal reviews (ANBRs, QPRs, etc.), and Corporate reviews (ENBRs, etc.), while utilizing digital toolsets and OppHub dashboard reporting to drive innovation, efficiency, analysis, and capture decision-making.
- Provide capture guidance, reporting, and recommendations to leadership at all levels, including executive leadership, by briefing capture principles, opportunities, and processes; supporting CPAG/RYG assessments; assisting with Corporate Focus reporting, Strategic Captures, and win/loss analysis; participating in customer award briefings; disseminating findings; and interfacing with executive management regarding capture findings and recommendations.
- Support enterprise-wide capture excellence and transformation initiatives by increasing awareness and adoption of capture best practices across Aero and the enterprise; continuously assessing capture process effectiveness; maintaining capture processes, best-practice guides, and associated documentation; supporting GBDS/OLM transformation efforts; identifying knowledge and resource gaps; and implementing effective solutions.
- Serve as a key operational and compliance resource by acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external AS9100 audits, planning and managing internal and external resources supporting capture activities, leading and/or supporting enterprise-wide capture process initiatives, and collaborating across stakeholders to ensure effective capture execution and operational alignment.

You are a strategic and collaborative capture and business operations professional with experience supporting or leading complex capture efforts, business development activities, or program execution within a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You bring a strong understanding of capture management principles, opportunity lifecycle processes, and enterprise business operations, and you excel in roles requiring cross-functional coordination, executive engagement, and strategic problem-solving. You are experienced in partnering with Business Development leaders, capture teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, develop win strategies, and execute capture activities across diverse acquisition environments such as Rapid Acquisition, OTA, CSO, and International pursuits. You are skilled at facilitating workshops, leading reviews, analyzing capture data, and presenting insights and recommendations to leadership. You are recognized for your ability to manage competing priorities and influence across organizations while communicating effectively in operational and executive settings.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience as a project/program lead
• Stakeholder & Meeting Facilitation experience
• Experience with the Enterprise Win Plan and direct experience working with Capture teams
• Experience leading complex, large dollar pursuits/captures; Capture SME
• Experience leading high visibility, high urgency projects in a rapidly evolving work environment
• OppHub know-how (MS Dynamics 365) experience
• Experience in continuous process improvement
• Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Corporate Focus Program/Strategic Capture experience
• Data analytics; metric development
• Automation & Query Skills (SQL, Power Query, scheduled dataflows)

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
