As a member of Autonomy, Intelligence & Maritime Systems (AIMS), the Global Business Development & Strategy Sr. Staff position will support the AIMS Intelligence Senior Manager in strategy development, New Business Funds (NBF) management, Integrated Resource Planning / Long Range Planning for the Range, Readiness & Resiliency Operations & Collections (R3OC) submarket. This role will include the Intelligence and Department of Defense (DOD) Markets. Responsibilities include supporting the business strategy, growing the pipeline and capturing new business in the Domestic and select International customer segments in partnership with the Strategy and Business Development market segment senior manager. As a member of the AIMS Business Development team this individual will support our market segment growth objectives consistent with our Intelligence market strategies. This individual will interface with customers primarily in the Intelligence Community and DoD. The candidate will be responsible for the following areas:
• Lead the pursuit of Tactical Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) opportunities that support the AIMS business strategy to grow the domestic and international pipeline
- Serve as the BD lead for the ACS Submarket Segment P&L Director
- Execute New Business Updates that align with the AIMS and higher-level New Business Reviews (NBR)
- Long Range Plan (LRP) Orders understanding, co-development with Finance & Business Operations (F&BO), updates, and execution as coordinated with P&L (PMs & Director)
• Industry interface for Teaming strategy development with Small and Large business; lead and execute Teaming Process actions IAW established LM legal policies & procedures
• Represent AIMS on numerous IPTs, Working Groups, Campaigns, and/or other Cross-BA BD synchronization efforts
• Broad strategic thinker with strong understanding of the ACS markets with established customer relationships in the US Service components and key international partners
• Support integration and partnership with the other LM Business Areas: Aeronautics, Missiles and Fire Control, Rotary and Mission Systems, and Space, to develop focused market strategies and support the development of the respective long-range plans
• Partner with LMGA, Global Business Development & Strategy, CE&T, Corporate Treasury, and others as required
• Continue to evolve BD organization and develop leaders to support business area growth
• Measures of effectiveness of the individual in this position will include:
- Ability to identify, qualify, shape, and win new business Cyber opportunities
- Ability to establish market focused growth strategies
- Developing and growing the new business pipeline
- Capturing profitable and strategic new business
- Building strong internal and external teams
- Ability to penetrate new and adjacent markets

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate should have insight into the Intelligence and DOD market and demonstrated ability to assess approaches and candidate strategies. Prior experience in business development, an active Top Secret SCI clearance, MPO Teaming experience and prior experience managing people and resources.
• 12+ years of business development / capture and/or operational experience.
• Strong technical and operational experience and understanding Signal Intelligence and Cyber Operations
• Understanding of US Intelligence Community & military strategy and select allied countries
• Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive arena.
Desired Skills:
Domestic experience - Maryland Procurement Office and other Intelligence Customers, US Navy, US Air Force, U.S. Army and Space Command
• Strong Network within MPO Industrial Base
• Significant experience is developing teaming strategies to create differentiation in the MPO pipeline
• Firm understanding of MPO and DOD Acquisition landscape
• Strong understanding of LM/RMS Win Plan
• Ability to identify, qualify, shape and win new business ECIW opportunities including opportunity identification, developing business cases, and capture execution
• Experience in capture management with certification - portfolio has several numerous critical pursuits in a new business pipeline

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
