DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES
All Points is seeking a Help Desk II Technician to support the Headquarters Air Mobility Command A4 Directorate at Scott Air Force Base, IL. This position provides Tier 1/2 technical support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel in both classified and unclassified environments.
**This is a Federal Contract. US Citizenship and an active, current, and fully adjudicated US DoD Secret Clearance are required. Candidates that do not meet these requirements will not be considered**
The selected candidate will serve as a first-line technical support resource, resolving user issues and ensuring continuity of IT operations across mission-critical systems.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES
All Points is seeking a Help Desk II Technician to support the Headquarters Air Mobility Command A4 Directorate at Scott Air Force Base, IL. This position provides Tier 1/2 technical support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel in both classified and unclassified environments.

The selected candidate will serve as a first-line technical support resource, resolving user issues and ensuring continuity of IT operations across mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Tier 1/2 Help Desk support for end users (military, civilian, and contractor personnel)
- Perform laptop and desktop setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for both classified and unclassified environments
- Create and manage Remedy trouble tickets for customer-reported issues via calls, walk-ins, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Hardware and software
- Network connectivity
- System applications
- Telecommunications services
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when required
- Assist users with VPN connectivity and Air Force-approved software and applications
- Maintain and update asset tracking databases and mobile device records
- Support in-processing and out-processing activities for users
- Assist with inventory and asset management for IT equipment
- Document configurations, procedures, and resolution steps
- Collaborate within a team environment and follow established policies and procedures
EDUCATION
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in a related field
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of relevant experience in Help Desk, desktop support, or IT operations
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required)
- DoD IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) (required)
- Experience supporting Windows-based environments (e.g., Windows 10/11)
- Experience with desktop/laptop imaging and deployment
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy or similar)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- System configuration and maintenance
- IT support processes and documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment with diverse user groups
- Strong communication and customer service skills
DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Operating System certifications (Windows or similar)
- Experience supporting classified environments
- Experience with asset management and inventory tracking systems
- Familiarity with general office procedures and administrative support
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active, current, and fully adjudicated Secret clearance required (no exceptions)
SALARY RANGE
- $50,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience
