Our client seeks a Sr. Solutions Architect III - Cyber to design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains. You will lead the implementation of a Security Operations Center and integrate its tools while engineering controls aligned to federal frameworks. You will apply deep SOC, CDS, and automation expertise to improve detection, response, and continuous monitoring in classified environments.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Salary: $185,000 - $240,000/ yr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains.
  • Lead the design, stand-up, and integration of a Security Operations Center and its tools.
  • Engineer and implement security controls and continuous monitoring solutions aligned to federal frameworks.
  • Implement and integrate SIEM and related security tools, create queries, and analyze aggregated logs to detect anomalies and risks.
  • Design and implement controls for networks and infrastructure services across IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
  • Automate security workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and threat response.
  • Drive incident response processes and forensic analysis to contain and eradicate threats.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate architecture, risks, and remediation plans.

Experience Requirements:
  • Active TS//SCI or SCI-eligible clearance.
  • At least 10 years as a cybersecurity engineer with specialization in SOCs, Cross Domain Solutions, and security control implementations with continuous monitoring and auditing.
  • Expert-level experience engineering and implementing SIEM and related security tools, with strong log query and analysis skills.
  • Strong experience implementing controls mapped to NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing controls for network and infrastructure services across IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
  • Expert proficiency in incident response, security incident handling, and forensic analysis.
  • Experience with security automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and response.
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification meeting DoD 8140 requirements.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
