Job Description
Position: Program Analyst / Installation Support Analyst / Financial Analyst
This position will directly support stakeholders from the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) (formerly SPAWAR), and Portfolio Acquisition Executive – Mission Systems (PAE-MS) organizations. Specifically, the analyst will help programs within PMW-160 with the planning, management and execution of project installations.
Responsibilities
• Represent client interests and consult customers on business processes by having a firm grasp of Navy, government, and industry best practices
• Understand general DoD financial rules and guidelines in order to work closely with or as a financial analyst, ensuring all projects are adequately resourced
• Provide simple reconciliation reports, expenditure projections, and historical cost assessments
• Manage technical and programmatic information within multiple databases (SPIDER/CAPS, NDE, RIPTIDE, CM Pro, SMART)
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics or budget, to obtain necessary documentation for various programmatic, financial, and technical evaluations
• Perform data integrity analyses, data analytics and ad hoc drills
Desired Skills and Work Experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate helpful
• Critical Thinking
• Data Analytics
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience (BS in Business or Finance)
• Strong organizational aptitude, able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Motivated to work independently and with little supervision
• Thrives in a collaborative environment
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Prior database experience preferred
• Knowledge of US Navy or military in general preferred
• Prior PEO C4I, NAVWAR, PAE-MS, PMW-160, Navy, or government acquisition and contracting experience preferred (not required)
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance
