We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer to support enterprise application development and modernization efforts within a secure federal environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that support mission and business operations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Salesforce platform expertise, experience integrating enterprise systems, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. This role requires a proactive problem solver with experience supporting Agile environments and delivering secure, high-quality solutions.

In This Role, You’ll:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce applications and platform enhancements
• Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems
• Support data migration, cleansing, and system optimization activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and platform performance concerns
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, and release management
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and deployment procedures
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and Public Trust compliance requirements
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, and platform release activities

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development or engineering experience
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong proficiency with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications and enterprise platforms
• Experience working within Agile software development environments
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Availability to work onsite in the Chantilly, VA area

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or App Builder
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud
• Experience supporting federal government or regulated environments
