Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a candidate to fill the position CH-47 Sustainment Chief Engineer, M-level in Ridley Park, PA.
The BGS Chief Engineer (CE) has responsibility for overall safety, technical integrity, and engineering execution excellence for the BGS CH-47 support and sustainment statement of work. The BGS CH-47 Chinook Sustainment CE will report directly to the BGS Director of Vertical Lift Engineering.
The BGS CH-47 CE will work closely and partners with BDS CH-47 CE for services execution and fleet support. This BGS CH-47 CE also integrates closely with the different BDS Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders in the new BDS IPT structure that has been implemented. BGS CH-47 CE is a key member of the BGS CH-47 Program Leadership Team and is accountable to the BGS CH-47 U.S Army Special Ops Program Director as well as international NE/SE Asia, Europe Israel Canada Latin America, United Kingdom, Boeing Defense India, Boeing Defense Australia, and Middle East program Directors (7 Program Directors under BGS Government Services Business). The BGS CE is the senior engineering leader for the support and training and the senior technical interface to customers, teammates and suppliers. This individual is also responsible for program technical integration across Boeing business units.
This position will operate per PRO-6924, which outlines the Chief Program Engineer role and charter as the independent technical leader ensuring technical excellence, safety, and proper coordination between the teams.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
100% Onsite:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Mesa, AZ.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- 3+ years experience in a managerial role
- Experience in at least one of the following Integrated Product Support elements: Product Support Management, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Technical Data, Support Equipment, Sustaining Engineering, or Design for Maintainability/Supportability
- Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
- Experience leading safety or quality teams and activities including Safety Action Groups (SAGs), Safety Risk Management (SRM), Safety Assurance (SA), or related activities
- 10+ years of experience in development programs (integration, test phases), production support, or sustainment engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years or greater in a managerial role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong business acumen and being able to work at senior levels of the business.
- Experience interfacing directly with the United States Army, Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD), and International Customers
- Active Current U.S. Security Clearance
- Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)
