Description:What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a detail oriented Calibration Technician to support the daily operations of our AS9100D certified calibration lab.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
The technician will perform routine and non routine calibrations on a variety of mechanical, electrical, temperature, pressure, and dimensional instruments, ensuring each piece of equipment meets specified tolerances and traceability requirements.
Responsibilities include preparing work orders, setting up equipment, executing calibration procedures, recording data, and generating calibration certificates in compliance with internal quality standards.
The ideal candidate holds an associate's degree or technical diploma in engineering technology, physics, or a related field, with at least 2 years of hands on calibration experience in a laboratory environment. Proficiency with calibration software, a solid understanding of measurement uncertainty concepts, and familiarity with safety and environmental regulations are essential. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team, and excellent written and verbal communication are required.
Basic Qualifications:
Formal training in a related field and at least two years of hands on calibration experience in a laboratory environment.
US Citizen and Ability to acquire a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Proficiency with calibration software.
Strong organizational skills.
The ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
PMEL, TMDE, or Metrology training.
Associate's degree or technical diploma in engineering technology, physics, or a related field, with at least 2 years of hands on calibration experience in a laboratory environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
