Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner for our Operations team. Our team is responsible for driving inventory optimization, minimizing costs, and ensuring seamless material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for executing Make, Buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities, collaborating with various manufacturing functions, and maintaining production systems integrity. You will work closely with Operations Management, Supply Chain Stakeholders, and Engineering to optimize production schedules, capacity requirements, and material flow.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing MRP transactions and maintaining production systems integrity
• Coordinating with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control and execute production plans
• Analyzing and controlling production schedules and capacity requirements
• Expediting material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements
• Collaborating with Supply Chain Stakeholders to determine time-phased plans for procured parts
• Maintaining MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinating with Engineering to update BOMs

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Past experience in any of the following areas:
Make/Buy/BOM Planning, Supply Chain, or equivalent
or experience in one area with an understanding of
the other two.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases,
and programs including SAP, Microsoft office, and
Apriso, or equivalent.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking
skills.
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or
supply chain management.
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and
multitasking skills.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, therefore selected candidate must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Ability to work with multiple levels of management,
Sites and Centers.
Windchill and MPMLink experience,
Previous working experience with engineering
drawings and parts lists.
Familiarity with S4 Hana MRP Logic
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge,
including familiarity with material requirements and
Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas of responsibility.
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting
System (MMAS).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
