Description:Please join us as a Responsible Product Engineer Delegate, where you will lead the development, production and certification of radio communications avionics on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Work on a cross functional team to support the development, production and certification of a complex missile radio product.
• Participate in design reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.
• Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Generation of End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integration of assemblies into system.
• Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
• Responsible for the full product lifecycle with a focus on the analog and digital electronics aspects with tight coordination and collaboration with the RF team.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Experience in a Responsible Engineer / Product Lead role for analog and digital electronics.
• Understanding of RF circuit design, such as amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
• RF test and troubleshooting experience.
• Digital or Analog circuit design experience.
• Familiarity with engineering processes.
• Proficiency with end item hardware development.
• Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.
• Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
• Proficiency in presentations and in written communications.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in development of high speed communications or similar high reliability electronics products.
• Experience supporting product acceptance testing and requirements verification.
• Active DoD Secret clearance, thus a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Experience as an Electronics Product Engineer in efforts to certify avionics hardware, and its interfaces to other systems, as ready for flight.
• Develop systems integration and test plans while supporting both system and subsystem integration test execution, including environmental and ground testing.
• Has demonstrated proficient presentation skills and associated presentation tools.
• Knowledge of subsystem/system requirements and process.
• Material Review Board (MRB) experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical and wiring schematics.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Mentor Graphics, ORCAD, Zuken or comparable drawing package.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
