Job Description

TIAG is now hiring a detail-oriented Electronics Technician I to support high-impact Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems (ESS) programs. This role is designed for a technician with a solid foundation in electronics who is ready to take on increased responsibility in the maintenance and repair of sophisticated security infrastructure. You will work as part of a collaborative team to ensure the operational readiness of essential security assets.
Core Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of technologies, including network switches, integrated displays, and signal processors.
  • Diagnose system malfunctions and hardware failures using technical manuals, schematics, and standard diagnostic tools.
  • Execute hardware-level repairs, including wiring restoration, component replacement, and connector repair.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new ESS equipment under the guidance of senior technical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of all maintenance activities and system modifications in accordance with DoD standards.
  • Travel to domestic sites (up to 10% CONUS) for routine maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, and system upgrades.


Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics maintenance, preferably with exposure to Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
  • Active LenelS2 Core certification is required (Advanced certification is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of analog/digital circuitry and signal processing.
  • Experience using multimeters and basic test equipment.
  • Proficiency in soldering and cable dressing.
  • High School Diploma or GED; formal electronics training is highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
