Duties
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of this position is: to provide or obtain a variety of management services essential to the direction and efficient operations of the organization. Directly assist the commander responsible for the management of the organization. Oversee assigned functions with managers/supervisors within the organization, Participate with management to address issues, resolve problems and provide recommendations for correcting or improving the
organization's overall management.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge is used to plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or support setting. The assignments require knowledge and skill in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity. Knowledge is applied in developing new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services, guidelines and procedures, and automating work processes for the conduct of administrative support functions or program operations. Knowledge may also be applied in analyzing and making recommendations concerning the centralization or decentralization of operations.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-09 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. DUTIES:
- Provides support to management in planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the 507th Air Defense Aggressor Squadron (507 ADAS) with direct oversight of unit training, readiness, and plans functions.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides supervisory counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- Plans, organizes, and executes mission support activities for 507th Air Defense Aggressor Squadron, Serves as the consultant to the squadron commander on all administrative management activities.
- Manages the 507th Air Defense Aggressor Squadron's Fiscal Program. Coordinates with the 57th Operations Group Resource Advisor with the status and availability of unit funds.
- Manages the 507th Air Defense Aggressor Squadron Facility Management Program, Oversees the operations and maintenance of 507 ADAS facilities.
