This role operates within a fully remote environment and is responsible for supporting the full acquisition lifecycle for public health and advanced R&D services. Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, recommend contract types, and develop procurement plans
- Support acquisition planning, develop requests for quotes/proposals, and source selection plans
- Analyze proposals and prepare award documentation
- Provide contract administration, monitor contract actions, and verify invoices
- Prepare modifications and closeout documentation
- Work with program managers and technical experts to develop work statements
- Apply knowledge of SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, GSA Federal Supply Schedules, and government contracts
Required Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of relevant federal contracting experience supporting the full acquisition lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a qualifying business-related field
- Experience with FAR-based acquisition support, including negotiating, awarding, and administering contracts
- Experience with Fixed-Price, Cost-Reimbursement, and IDIQ contracts
- Ability to work effectively with program managers and technical subject matter experts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with non-commercial contracting in public health, advanced R&D services, and consortia or OTA contracting
- Prior federal experience as a Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist (1102-11 or 12)
- Experience with procurement policies, market research, and proposal analysis
Compensation
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
