Oracle Web Administrator
Ogden, UT / Onsite

Blu Omega is seeking an Oracle Web Administrator to support a U.S. Air Force program focused on modernizing legacy network infrastructure and migrating services into an AWS Cloud Environment. This role operates onsite at Hill Air Force Base and is responsible for WebLogic server administration, website management, and infrastructure support. The position requires experience supporting WebLogic environments, Java/J2EE, and server management within a mission-driven environment.
Program Overview
Program: U.S. Air Force EMTECH Program at Hill AFB
Mission overview: Supports modernization of legacy USAF network infrastructure and migration into AWS cloud environment
Key Details
Location: Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, UT
Clearance: Active or Interim Secret Clearance required
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen required due to clearance requirements
Schedule: Fully onsite, 5 days/week
Responsibilities
• Create and maintain internal and external websites in collaboration with web developers
• Review web content, links, and design; provide updates and enhancements
• Install, configure, and maintain WebLogic server environments, including domains, managed servers, and clusters
• Monitor and tune WebLogic server performance, including JVM optimization and troubleshooting
• Manage WebLogic security, including LDAP authentication, SSL, and user roles and permissions
• Deploy and manage J2EE applications on WebLogic servers, ensuring high availability and load balancing
• Implement security measures such as firewalls and message encryption
• Manage internet and intranet infrastructure including web, FTP, mail servers, and news
• Collect, analyze, and report site usage data and performance metrics
• Conduct user testing and usability analysis, recommending improvements
• Communicate with site visitors regarding updates, downtime, and issue resolution
• Draft, document, and implement backup, recovery, and business continuity plans
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; Master's or PhD may substitute
• Current Security+ certification
• Experience with WebLogic server administration
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE, Linux/Unix, and Windows server management
• JVM tuning and performance troubleshooting skills
• Experience with HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP protocols
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator certification
• CompTIA Linux+, A+, and Network+ certifications
• Experience with LDAP, SSL, clustering, load balancing, and J2EE deployments
Compensation
Salary Range: $85,000 - $92,000
