Summary:
• Develop C++ software for satellite communication applications.
• Analyze user requirements, design and implement complex algorithms, and integrate automated testing.
• Manage database interfaces and debug software defects.
• Utilize DevOps processes and tools in virtual (VMware) and containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) environments.
• Apply knowledge of RF systems, real-time systems, and communication protocols.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $216k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Analyze user requirements to derive software designs for new applications or modifications.
• Write high-quality, maintainable C++ code for satellite communication applications, adhering to best practices.
• Identify, debug, and correct defects in existing software, utilizing effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Design and implement database or data repository interfaces and queries to support data management needs.
• Design and implement complex algorithms that adhere to strict timing, system resource, and interface constraints.
• Integrate automated testing as part of the development lifecycle, implementing unit tests and other methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system architects, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, processes, and interfaces.
• Demonstrate proficiency in C++ development, with a solid understanding of real-time systems and performance optimization.
• Apply experience with RF signals analysis or satellite communications system design and theory.
• Utilize familiarity with DevOps processes and tools, particularly in virtual (VMware) and containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) environments.
• Possess experience with message queue implementation and communication protocols.
• Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, along with adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
