Technical & Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end spacecraft assembly, integration, and test activities across the full mission lifecycle, from proposal and design phases through launch campaign execution.
- Provide strategic oversight and technical leadership for all spacecraft and payload AI&T activities.
- Drive verification & validation (V&V) execution to ensure mission readiness and compliance with system requirements.
- Support environmental test campaigns including thermal vacuum, vibration, acoustic, EMI/EMC, and functional testing activities.
- Review and guide AI&T plans, test procedures, test scripts, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) requirements, and associated deliverables.
- Partner with Systems Engineering teams to evaluate integration approaches, parts selection, and mission performance considerations.
- Participate in anomaly investigations, nonconformance reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned activities.
- Support launch campaign execution, including final spacecraft integration, troubleshooting, and launch site readiness activities.
Operational & Organizational Leadership
- Help define and mature Orion's long-term integration and test strategy as the organization continues to scale.
- Develop and improve repeatable AI&T processes while balancing agility, execution speed, and mission assurance.
- Operate effectively in a matrixed environment where collaboration across multiple programs and technical disciplines is essential.
- Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to engineering and integration teams.
- Work closely with program leadership to identify integration risks, schedule impacts, staffing needs, and operational gaps.
- Collaborate with supplier manufacturing and test organizations to ensure successful delivery timelines and mission performance objectives.
- Support strategic planning efforts tied to future growth, infrastructure expansion, and operational capability development.
- Serve as a trusted technical leader capable of communicating effectively with engineers, program managers, executives, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications
- BS 16-18, MS 14+, PhD 10+
- Proven experience leading spacecraft integration and environmental test campaigns through launch readiness
- Background supporting complex aerospace and national security space programs
- Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystem integration, verification, and validation activities
- Experience collaborating across systems engineering, hardware, software, manufacturing, and mission operations teams
- Ability to balance technical depth with organizational leadership in a mission-focused environment
- Experience scaling engineering organizations and developing repeatable processes in growth environments
- Abilty to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Preferred:
- Active or prior security clearance
- Familiarity with launch campaign operations and anomaly resolutions efforts
