Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Management Supervisor to join the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) Operating Unit to support programs that may include the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Travel Assistance Center (TAC). Remote work is allowed.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Management Supervisor to join the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) Operating Unit to support programs that may include the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Travel Assistance Center (TAC). Remote work is allowed.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead teams responsible for support Government applications and systems such as Travel Assistance Center
- Work with the prime contractor where applicable to coordinate staff, report issues, raise concerns and risks, and report metrics and status
- Work with staff to address any performance problems and conduct performance reviews
- Interface with Operating Unit management to reports status, discuss staffing, and track finances.
- Manage schedules and shift scheduling as needed to ensure proper coverage
- Identify risks and issues associated with work on the contract
- Complete updates to weekly and monthly status reports on time and with high quality
- Work with other Analysts and the Customer to capture and translate high level functional, technical, and performance requirements into detailed acceptance criteria for epics / user stories in an Agile environment
- Decomposition of high-level information into details; abstracting low-level information; distinguishing requests vs needs; distinguishing requirements vs solutions
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal communication coupled with strong listening skills
- Be able to manage multiple assignments, changing priorities, and work independently with little oversight
- Participate in the Agile ceremonies and interface with the Agile team(s) and other program staff as required
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal communication coupled with strong listening skills
- Follow documented procedures to maintain system documentation, requirements repository, and business rules repository, and other project documentation
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years' professional leadership experience in information technology technical project management or related fields
- Must be US Citizen
- Able to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience with the Defense Travel System and/or the Travel Assistance Center
- Experience with development lifecycles (Agile, XP, Waterfall, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated organization skills
- Demonstrated people leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 20 years' professional leadership experience in any information technology field(s)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Large Language Models (LLM)
