We are seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support the design and development of enterprise solutions for complex application, platform, cloud, infrastructure, API, and data service environments across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. This role is responsible for guiding architecture efforts that align user requirements, mission objectives, and emerging technologies with Enterprise Architecture strategies and standards.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

This role is responsible for guiding architecture efforts that align user requirements, mission objectives, and emerging technologies with Enterprise Architecture strategies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Mid-level and Junior-level Systems Architects in the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures while ensuring alignment and traceability to Enterprise Architecture and enterprise requirements.
- Support the analysis of user requirements, operational procedures, workflows, and system limitations to improve or automate existing systems and capabilities.
- Guide architecture teams in developing proposed solution architecture changes based on mission requirements, technical analysis, and emerging technologies.
- Support the design and integration of application, API, data, platform, cloud, and infrastructure services within enterprise environments.
- Assist in evaluating system capabilities, workflow efficiencies, scalability, and scheduling limitations to improve enterprise performance and mission delivery.
- Ensure architectural solutions align with strategic goals, governance standards, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, integration, and program teams to ensure architectural consistency across systems and services.
- Support architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and enterprise capability planning efforts.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
- Additional experience may be substituted for a degree (4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree).
- 12+ years of experience supporting government or industry programs in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale architectures across complex mission environments.
- Previous experience supporting NGA, NSG/ASG programs/projects.
- Previous experience supporting IC, or DoD programs/projects.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and successfully pass a polygraph.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, processes, tools, and languages.
- Federated Enterprise Architect Certification or Certified Enterprise Architect credential.
