Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced algorithms and software solutions for undersea sensor applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high performance, reliable, and scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize algorithms and software for undersea sensor applications.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate algorithmic solutions into embedded systems for undersea environments.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of algorithms to ensure efficient and reliable operation in challenging undersea conditions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for algorithms, software, and systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and systems in undersea applications.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What sets you apart:
- Experience with Docker for containerization and/or Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
- Knowledge of underwater acoustics and sonar systems.
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience with MATLAB or similar tools for algorithm development and simulation.
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
