Position Description
The Project Manager (PM) shall serve as the primary point of contact between the Contractor and the Government and shall be fully responsible for the management, execution, quality control, staffing, scheduling, reporting, and successful performance of all contract requirements. The PM shall oversee all digital communication, multimedia production, social media management, analytics reporting, executive communication support, and graphic design activities performed under this contract.
The PM shall:
- Direct and manage contract operations in support of the I Corps Public Affairs Office.
- Ensure compliance with all PWS requirements, Government policies, operational security (OPSEC), and Public Affairs guidance.
- Supervise contractor personnel and coordinate workflow, production schedules, deliverables, and quality assurance.
- Lead development of the Digital Communication Strategy, publishing schedules, communication plans, and reporting products.
- Ensure all content is reviewed and approved prior to publication.
- Coordinate directly with the COR regarding performance, staffing, issues, and deliverables.
- Manage weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Maintain continuity of operations and ensure responsiveness to Government requirements.
Experience Requirements
The PM shall possess:
- Demonstrated experience managing digital communication or public affairs programs supporting government, military, or large enterprise organizations.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams supporting social media, graphic design, video production, analytics, and strategic communications.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications and enterprise social media management platforms.
- Experience developing communication strategies, executive communication products, and analytics reporting.
- Familiarity with Army Public Affairs doctrine, digital communication policies, and operational security requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in digital communications, public affairs, marketing, strategic communications, or related fields.
- Minimum five (5) years of program or project management experience overseeing communication or media operations.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms identified in the PWS.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia Communications, or related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
Security Requirements
- Active SECRET security clearance.
