Software Engineer

Overview

Develop new and existing technologies and software solutions using front-end and/or back-end skillsets. Provide technical guidance in collaboration with software developers and customer throughout the product's development .

Responsibilities

• Develop web-based applications that will serve content to thousands of users across the Department of Defense (DoD) using the Palantir platform.

• Develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies . Software will be developed using an agile-scrum development style, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, architects, and systems engineers.

• Perform mid-level development, test, analysis, and validation of software.

• Collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices ensuring a high-quality standard.

• Familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering required . Additional experience may substitute for degree .

• 2-7 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and associated tools .

• Experience developing software in C# .

• Experience debugging code .

• Experience with Agile development .

• Experience in Palantir development.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Communication skills to interface with government and contractors to represent technical and programmatic positions.

• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks .

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

• U.S. Citizenship is required .

• Knowledge of office administration and procedures.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required .
