Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level (Grade-5 to GS-11) or pay band NT-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing the cybersecurity posture and lifecycle compliance of critical mission systems. 2) Executing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and maintaining active Authorizations to Operate (ATOs). 3) Analyzing system audit logs and assisting in incident response and vulnerability mitigation. 4) Maintaining system security documentation and enforcing user compliance. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

- You will support an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in overseeing the cybersecurity posture and lifecycle compliance of critical mission systems.
- You will engage with program managers and system owners to ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the system development lifecycle.
- You will conduct highly complex cybersecurity investigations and audits of suspected espionage and unintentional data spillages.
- You will direct and execute cyber incident response, ensuring that support is provided in a manner that minimizes interruptions to customers' critical mission activities.
- You will research, evaluate, and provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns in cybersecurity requirements to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.

- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
