Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Communicating orally and in writing Quality Assurance Program updates and complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel ensuring organizational goals.
2. Interpreting and appyling of quality assurance concepts, operating principles, and methodology applicable to repair a new construction shipbuilding technique ensuring the quality of products and services.
3. Providing technical direction in all phases of inspection techniques in Quality Assurance and makes technical evaluations necessary to assure conformance to established specifications and requirements.
4. Operating and specialized testing a Quality Assurance program for shipboard hull and machinery repair and maintenance, including functional relationships among components and subsystems.
5.Utilizing project management skills and principles to systematically approach the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling organizational resources to make appropriate prioritization and critical decisions to support the organizational goals and objectives.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
