As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Supports the Combatant Commanders Exercise Engagement and Training Transformation (CE2T2) Branch Chief in program planning and budgeting, identifying fiscal and personnel resource requirements, acquisition requirements, and program execution for multiple Joint training programs.
- Applies expert analytical and evaluative skills to determine the actions necessary to support a variety of major mission and operational plans that are compatible with Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) and The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) guidance, strategy, policies, concepts and objectives, and Congressional decisions, and to provide the optimum range of alternatives to Deputy Directorate Program Management Activities leadership.
- Prepares instructions, operating policies, procedures, guidelines concerning assigned programs and recommends required changes and adjustments to ensure proper and adequate accomplishment of major goals.
- Reviews, writes and interprets new and established directives, instructions, regulations, and delegations of authority for potential impact on major program objectives, operations policies, training operations and processes.

- Assesses Joint Training laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the management of Combatant Commanders Exercise Engagement and Training Transformation (CE2T2) in order to ensure compliance.
- Evaluates the overall planning and execution of the Combatant Commanders Exercise Engagement and Training Transformation (CE2T2) program in order to provide managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of operations and management.
- Applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of complex Combatant Commanders Exercise Engagement and Training Transformation (CE2T2) management processes and the Joint Training System to assist the Branch Chief.
- Utilizes advanced concepts, principles, and practices in program management in order to develop concepts, principles, standards and methods in the area of program management.
- Prepares designs and conducts comprehensive management studies to prepare solutions for management problems.
