The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Organization is seeking an E-7 Wiring Manufacturing Engineer (Level 3 or Level 4) to support the Air Vehicle Wiring ME team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.
As the Program Focal for all Production Engineering Activities, you will support the Air Vehicle Manufacturing Package including Installations, Test, and Delivery Support as required. In this role, you will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on doing what is right and best for the airplane to keep production moving in the right direction.
Position Responsibilities:
• Gather and define system-level requirements for Parts, Plans, and Tools.
• Manage wiring change configuration.
• Support design reviews, analyses, simulations, and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
• Support troubleshooting of delivered product operational/service anomalies and incidents.
• Participate in new business development efforts.
• Lead Design Build Plan for the Program.
• Work under general supervision.
This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Level 4: 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• BDS similar experience preferred.
• Hands on MESci & WIRS experience.
