Job Description
Mission Essential is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Management Specialist to support the oversight of operational readiness, maintenance, and renovation activities. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Facilities Manager with the tracking of building status of all facilities owned by USEUCOM to include repairs; prepares information using MS Office tools to brief Headquarters Commandant and USEUCOM leadership
- Assist the Facilities Manager with tracking all service-orders for all USEUCOM facilities; prepares information using MS Office tools to brief Headquarters Commandant and USEUCOM leadership
- Assist the Facilities Manager with planning and execution of USEUCOM building renovation plan
- Assist the Facilities Manager with planning for the OPS/INTEL building construction
- Collaborate with US Army Garrison-Stuttgart as required to complete assigned tasks/responsibilities
- Contractor shall, in the absence of the Facilities Manager, notify Headquarters Commandant and Deputy Commandant of any critical failures with USEUCOM facilities (utilities, structural, etc.)
- Maintain key control with records for rooms in building
- Serve as barracks Fire Warden. Ensures all fire extinguishers are serviced/certified as required. Ensure all fire detectors are operational. Ensure fire prevention measures are adhered to and proper makings and directions are posted on each floor. Coordinates with USAG-S Department of Emergency Services as required
- Submit and track service orders for repairs in building
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- Will be trained in the use of enterprise Military Housing application within 30 days of assuming position
- Master's degree in a related field and three (6) years of recent specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (9) years of recent specialized experience; OR ten (13) years of recent specialized experience.
- Must have secret level clearance
