Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid/Onsite)
Clearance: Ability to pass federal background investigation
About the Role
A senior Policy Analyst is needed to help shape and refine policies and procedures for a federal public safety agency. This role involves researching, developing, and evaluating policies that have a direct impact on mission execution.

Salary - $87,000 - $100,000

About the Role

Responsibilities:
Research statutes, regulations, guidance, and best practices to inform policy development.
Draft and revise agency policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Analyze policy impacts and provide recommendations for leadership.
Coordinate reviews with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
Develop briefings and training materials to support policy rollout.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
7+ years of policy analysis or related experience, preferably in federal or justice/public safety environments.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear guidance.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
Work Authorization
