SABG is hiring a Strategic Planning Analyst (Advanced) in TB XO to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL.

JOB TITLE: Strategic Planning Analyst (Advanced)
LOCATION: Huntsville, AL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing comprehensive and dedicated support to the TB senior leadership and support organizations. This support includes synthesizing internal and external TB communications, strategic planning, internal support of critical initiatives, external liaison activities, facilitation of executive meetings and travel.
- Support day-to-day mission planning, review and analyze documentation for meetings, and review other forums for daily operations, which includes consideration of programmatic context and overall TB program strategy.
- Provide analytical results and/or recommendations, including preparation for meetings or other events. Prepare briefings, develop reports, and identify best practices for TB strategic planning.
- Support TB executive leadership in their preparation for speeches and briefings to the MDA Director, National Command Authority, Department of Defense, Congress, Defense Industrial Base Partners, and International Governments/agencies.
- Provide both programmatic and specialized support required by the TB Leadership Team.
- Assist Executive or Senior Leadership with daily office operations and prioritization of events as well as staff actions based on known activities or guidance provided. Oversee the office calendar and provide recommendations to resolve issues or conflicts; coordinate impacts and changes; and provide guidance to staff for synchronization. Prepare Executive or Senior Leader for daily events, meetings, conferences, and other forums to include schedule confirmation, materials, transportation, and video-teleconferences.
- Assist Executive or Senior Leadership with daily office management and document control. Review correspondence, briefings, response to inquiries, and talking points that require signature, and provide advice, status, and/or recommendations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS and 6 years' experience in administrative/business field; AA and 8 years' experience in administrative/business field; or 15 years' experience in administrative/business field.
- Possess 3+ years' of direct experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).
- Demonstrated advanced capabilities executing day-to-day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
- Proficient in advanced analytical thinking; working in a teaming environment developing corporate strategies, goals and objectives and briefing recommendations to senior leaders.
- Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities.
- Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
- Proficient in government travel processes and systems.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders.
- Proficient in classified correspondence handling procedures.
- Proficient in government task management systems.
- Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations to senior leaders
- Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, read-ahead documentation).
- Experience with government time-management procedures and systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of record management processes.
- Must possess high levels of communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organization, and presentation skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
