Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.
Essential Functions
- Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems
- Continuously oversee, monitor, and track IT contract(s) for cost, schedule, and performance; and provide monthly metrics and status
- Provide expert support to government contracting representatives for associate contractors in the execution and administration of new project and baseline task
- Develop descriptive tasking language and assist with government cost estimates
- Assist with government technical evaluations and recommendations to the Contracting Officer
- Participate in weekly meetings and customer requirements meetings to prepare and submit bi-weekly reports
- Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing improved IT efficiencies
- Assist with reviewing, editing, and completing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) associated with various DoD contracts
- Identify trends or other issues that may require special consideration or procedures
- Prepare briefings, white papers, information papers, recommendations, governance metrics, and policy assessments
- Provide expert assistance with quality assurance of the associate contractor's execution of their contracted tasks
- Advise and assist the government to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the MDA Office of the CIO in the delivery of IT solutions to the Agency
- Submit for and track status of DoD approvals required for new contract efforts
Required Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelors' Degree in a field pertinent to position from an accredited institution plus 4 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects
- Acceptable alternative: 8 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / projects
- Capable of working independently and / or participating on sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems
