Position Overview:
The contractor will serve as the PM SPHS Onsite Production Lead, responsible for coordinating production support activities for the Self-Propelled Howitzer Systems (SPHS) and Paladin Integrated Management (PIM) programs. This role focuses on production execution, parts availability, system tracking, and cross-organizational coordination to ensure successful manufacturing, inspection, and delivery of systems.

Position Overview:
The contractor will serve as the PM SPHS Onsite Production Lead, responsible for coordinating production support activities for the Self-Propelled Howitzer Systems (SPHS) and Paladin Integrated Management (PIM) programs. This role focuses on production execution, parts availability, system tracking, and cross-organizational coordination to ensure successful manufacturing, inspection, and delivery of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the onsite Production Lead for PM SPHS programs
- Track daily status of PIM/PAL/Fielded Army Aviation (FAA) systems, with emphasis on Government Furnished Material (GFM) and critical shortage parts
- Identify and manage potential production "line-stoppers" and resolve issues affecting integration, schedule, quality, manufacturing, and program execution
- Coordinate across multiple stakeholders including Elgin, ANAD, VUOC, PM SPHS, TACOM Item Managers, DLA, Service Supply Activities, and BAE Systems
- Monitor Final Inspection Records (FIR) compliance and DD250 acceptance documentation
- Track delivery of systems to Fort Sill, OK for fire control testing and validation
- Monitor parts shortages identified during inspections, disassembly, and repair operations
- Track requisitions and status of parts and assemblies shipped to and from vendors for repair, overhaul, or upgrade
- Provide ongoing updates on GFM availability and condition code status across facilities
- Participate in weekly Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and provide status updates and issue resolution support
Qualifications
- An associate's degree in a technical science field or some classes in engineering at an accredited university
- Minimum 15 years specialized experience in working with/on tracked or wheeled combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity, working directly with PM offices, and working onsite at military installations.
