The EPIC Quality Analyst team monitors program production and testing activities processes to ensure the mission success of the program and works with the various cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvements. We are seeking a detail-oriented quality professional as a teammate. Each team member has individual program assignments, but we work as a unified team to identify and resolve potential issues before timelines are impacted. Role and Responsibilities:
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, and program personnel to ensure requirements are met
  • Investigate problems, establish disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
  • Recommend corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications to processes
  • Create and disposition QNs
  • Review/approval production routers
  • Review electrical/mechanic drawings
  • Witness testing activities
  • Assure compliance with quality protocols in accordance with contractual requirements and NG policies
  • Participate in program audits, customer audits and weekly meetings
  • Communicate openly and effectively with teammates and customer representatives.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related work experience or a Master's Degree and 0 year of related work experience. Must have 6 years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team
  • Ability to work flexible or extended hours
  • Experience with SAP/S4 ERP transactions
  • Efficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills who can troubleshoot issues to closure with minimal directions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Experience in developing, collecting, and analyzing data
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with nonconformance and corrective action processes
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program functions to ensure quality standards are in place and followed
  • Experience in production floor environment pertaining to quality protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency in writing and following detailed procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment
  • Must be able to work on-site in Madison, Alabama

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Liaison experience with engineering, production, and program personnel
  • Experience in an ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System Environment
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment implementing solutions to complicated technical issues
  • Experience in production floor environment pertaining to quality
  • Prior SAP system experience
  • Experience in Defense Industry pertaining to manufacturing activities
  • Proficiency in root cause and corrective action processes


Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
