Description:Job Description: The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Point of Contact (POC) will drive the successful implementation and execution of all facets of CDM on the RIG-360 contract. Primary responsibilities include the following:
Participation as an active member in the Integrated Product/Process Team (IPT)
Review and comment on Program Planning documentation (Program Management Plan, Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Requirements (SOR), etc.)
Prepare, publish, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
Ensure Configuration Control activities are implemented on the program
Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings conducted on the program
Review and analyze engineering change packages for technical and programmatic impacts
Establish and monitor workflow teams within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database and provide workflow coordinator support
Review Change Notice (CN) content to ensure Lockheed Martin command media and program specific requirements are met
Manage initial releases and all changes to the Technical Data Package (TDP)
Basic Qualifications:
-Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Must have experience using Configuration Status Accounting tools.
-Experience writing processes and procedures.
- Must have Configuration Change Board (CCB) understanding including implementation activities.
- Experience in reading and releasing engineering drawings and documentation including bills of material.
- Proven ability in processing CDRLs in accordance with the Contract Statement of work, 1423s, and DD250s, and in accordance with the applicable Industry Standards.
- Experience with serialization of hardware and Item Unique Identification standards.
- Advance experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel): including designing, developing, automating, and maintaining Excel databases.
-Familiarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.
-Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
-Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
Desired Skills:
Develops solutions to assigned technical problems of limited scope which require ingenuity and innovation.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse technical and business personnel.
- Experience with CM of hardware/software.
- Knowledge of and experience in the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering efforts of a Missile program.
- Experience with Product Data Management tools
