About this position: We are seeking a CrowdStrike Junior Administrator to support a CrowdStrike pilot deployment for a federal client. This is an entry-level role designed for early-career cybersecurity professionals looking to gain hands-on experience with enterprise endpoint security tools in a mission-critical environment.


You will assist with endpoint onboarding, platform administration, reporting, and operational support across cloud environments including AWS and OCI, supporting globally distributed endpoints. This role offers strong growth potential and exposure to real-world cybersecurity operations within a federal setting.


Salary Range: $65K – $80K - commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.


On a day-to-day basis, you will:


  • Support endpoint onboarding, sensor deployment validation, and basic troubleshooting

  • Monitor dashboards for sensor health, host visibility, and deployment completion

  • Assist with alert review, ticket creation, documentation, and escalation to senior staff

  • Maintain asset inventories, deployment trackers, and operational records

  • Help prepare reports on pilot coverage, adoption, and platform performance

  • Follow documented procedures for account administration, host grouping, and policy support

  • Participate in testing and validation activities for pilot rollout

  • Collaborate with engineering and administration teams to support transition from pilot to full deployment

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs




Required Education/Qualifications:


  • Active Secret clearance 

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, cybersecurity, or endpoint management

  • Basic understanding of operating systems, endpoint security, and enterprise IT environments

  • Experience troubleshooting Windows endpoints and/or Linux virtual environments

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment




Preferred Qualifications:


  • Internship, lab, or academic exposure to EDR, SIEM, or endpoint security tools

  • Exposure to CrowdStrike, Trellix, AWS, or OCI through coursework, certifications, or prior experience

  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments and enterprise endpoint management concepts

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar)
