Sr Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator

Charleroi, PA

Pay Estimated: $29.70 - $31.87/Hour

Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance

Help develop the advanced technologies that protect national security. As a Sr Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator, you will support the fabrication, assembly, inspection, and integration of complex electronic and mechanical systems used in mission-critical defense applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform moderately complex production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, modules, boards, panels, frames, drawers, cables, and harnesses
  • Build, integrate, fabricate, and inspect prototype, pre-production, and production hardware for large complex systems
  • Assemble and solder RF cables, multi-function cables, harnesses, ribbons, and strip lines to support RF performance requirements
  • Conduct fabrication, marking, inspection, and testing activities in accordance with quality and manufacturing specifications
  • Load and configure customer or standard software onto customer devices and hardware systems
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and support process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment


Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 years of manufacturing, production, electronics assembly, or related experience
  • AA Degree or manufacturing certification preferred
  • Ability to perform advanced fabrication, assembly, and hardware integration tasks
  • Experience loading and configuring software on customer devices or systems
  • Knowledge of RF cable/harness assembly, soldering, and electronic/mechanical assembly techniques
  • Understanding of quality standards, inspection methods, statistics, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) applications
  • Basic computer proficiency and strong documentation skills
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Confidential Security Clearance
  • Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing/production environment
