USGI is seeking a General Combat Development Support Analyst in Stone Bay Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to support combat development efforts within the Capability Development / Requirements & Acquisition Branch by assisting Capability Development Teams as required through interaction and coordination with subordinate unit elements for test and evaluation support, assisting with concept development and market research, and reinforcing specific technology development efforts as priorities warrant.

Position Specific Responsibilities:
- Identify and incorporate identified deficiencies into the formal requirements processes and support any resulting evaluations of material solutions to those requirements.
- Interface with USSOCOM and Marine Corps Capability Research, Development and Program Managers and Executive Offices as well as representatives performing these functions with the NMF.
- Supports MARSOC's N2T transition process and assists in facilitating MARSOC Theater collaboration and coordination with the NMF. Understands NMF acquisition, combat development and requirements processes and, as required, attends NMF events that are of particular interest to MARSOC operational forces.
- Coordinate & support Combat Evaluations (CVs) and National to Theatre (N2T) transition efforts conducted across MARSOC in accordance with USSOCOM and USMC directives.
- Support all MARSOC Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) as they articulate Operational Capability gaps, to shape the proposal and execution of combat development/evaluation efforts.
- Serves as the interface between the Capability Development / Requirements & Acquisition Branch and the Strategic Programming Branch within MARSOC G-8 for potential procurement of developmental capabilities. Coordinates potential changes and/or N2T acquisition and procurement with MARSOC Program Managers & USSOCOM SOF AT&L.
- Reviews, and as required, supports development of future capability related POM issues into MARSOC's POM Submission or Statement of Concern working closely with the Strategic Programming Branch.
Common Responsibilities:
- Research and apply orders, directives, and policies applicable to capability development, acquisitions, and procurement in support of MARSOC objectives.
- Provide training, guidance, and assistance to MARSOC personnel outside the G-8 in capability development efforts.
- Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new capabilities and integration efforts relevant to MARSOC objectives.
- Provide support to technology scouting and test and evaluation activities.
- Communicate with various program offices, program executive offices, product line managers, & others, at USSOCOM, HQMC, & other government agencies as required.
- Attend conferences, integrated product team (IPT) meetings, program management reviews, capability development events, and unit contact meetings as required.
- Assist with developing Raider Capability Integration and Development System (RCIDS) requests, MARSOC technology objectives, combat mission needs statements, urgent universal need statements, and requirements documents as required.
- Provide support to the Requirements Officer in capability development efforts involving original equipment manufacturers (OEM), academia, national laboratories, other government agencies, and other organizations and agencies as required.
- Provide support to MARSOC Strategic Planning and Development for Technology Programs and Activities.
Required Qualifications
- Exposure and familiarity with Joint Special Operations Command's combat development directorates and processes for capability development and requirements validation.
- At a minimum, 10 years of combined operational experience including: Experience in the SOF Enterprise community or demonstrated equivalent; desired experience in direct relation to JSOC/NMF Integration and Combat Development programs.
- Mastery of advanced management and organizational principles and practices. Highly capable of planning, organizing, and supporting the combined efforts of military and civilian organizations and personnel in the management, analysis, and execution of MARSOC's program portfolio.
- High capability of employing risk management strategies to meet MARSOC requirements while balancing costs and availability. Comprehensive working knowledge of techniques used in equipment program evaluation. High degree of skill in applying these techniques to develop and compare alternative equipment program and budget actions, and to determine and defend optimal approaches to resourcing of USSOCOM and Service Headquarters programs.
- Possess and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a capability development related field in offices such as USSOCOM SOF AT&L, USMC CD&I or MCSC, NSW, MARSOC G-8, USASOC, AFSOC Capability Development Directorates, DIA, or similar
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
