Job Description

Work Location: NAVWAR OT1 PMW 740 spaces (San Diego, CA)
Travel: Heavy (25%+) OCONUS travel to the Philippines
Clearance: Active DoD Secret (Minimum)

This role involves providing Risk Management Framework (RMF) support to the Indo-Pacific Command - South (IPC-S) for the Integrated Battle Management System (IBMS) project. You will assist PMW 740 leadership in developing a tailored RMF framework with USINDOPACOM J6 for adoption by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), while leading artifact development and ATO processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • RMF & ATO: Lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifact development and manage the Authority to Operate (ATO) process for IBMS and other assigned projects.
  • Framework Development: Collaborate with USINDOPACOM J6 and the PHL Lead Engineer to develop an RMF framework for the AFP.
  • International Support: Travel extensively (25%+) to the Philippines to provide on-site engineering assistance, conduct assessments, and brief partner nation stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:
  • Deep expertise in the DoD ATO process and RMF artifact generation.
  • Previous experience supporting NAVWAR PMW 740 or FMS cases within the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex cyber concepts to international military partners.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Math/CS, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
  • Certifications: Active DoD 8570.1-M Level I certification (IAM, IAT, or IASAE).
