The Application Engineering Associate Manager role is responsible for leading the 1LMX MES Acceleration Team in the development of application solutions for capability enablement within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystems. This development is the cornerstone for successfully enabling LM Aero Operation's business transformation for all Lines of Businesses and programs.
What You Will Be Doing
• Lead a technical team of Application Engineers who are developing MES solutions for 1LMX Aero business transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership for alignment on scope and strategy execution for operations capability development.
• Ability to lead a team that has team members based across Aero's main sites.
• Personnel management tasks including staffing, training, work assignments, and performance reviews.
• Providing leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, recruit, and mentor team members.

Basic Qualifications:
• Project management experience
• Experience with technical requirements generation and specification development
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems with experience in a broad range of operations applications and workflows
• Experience in manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• Aerospace and Defense experience
• Experience in manufacturing systems, requirements, and methods
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM, TeamCenter or 3DX) experience
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (iBASEt, Apriso) experience
• Knowledge/experience of 1LMX program initiatives/efforts
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a semi-virtual team.
• Working knowledge of Agile processes
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership competencies

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
