DevOps Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer (Azure DevOps Server) to support a federal organization focused on national security, secure infrastructure operations, and mission-critical software development. This position is fully on-site in Washington, DC. The DevSecOps Engineer will administer and secure an on-prem Microsoft Azure DevOps Server environment while enabling CI/CD pipelines and secure software delivery. This role directly supports a high-impact mission protecting national security systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the DevSecOps Engineer include:

• Administering, maintaining, and upgrading Microsoft Azure DevOps Server 2022 in an on-premises environment
• Designing, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls
• Assisting developers with server access, repository creation, and local environment connectivity
• Partnering with infrastructure and operations teams to troubleshoot server, performance, and reliability issues
• Developing and maintaining DevOps and DevSecOps documentation, policies, and best practices

Required Qualifications for the DevSecOps Engineer include:

• 10+ years of professional experience with proven success in a DevSecOps engineering role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (on-prem) installation, administration, and upgrades
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD tooling, SDLC security integration, and infrastructure operations
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Active Top Secret security clearance, required

Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
