  • You will provide technical review of instructions, directives and manuals.
  • You will review technical reports for sponsors and systems users to ensure accuracy.
  • You will coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure training programs meet objecitves.
  • You will conduct research of military requirements and scientific and security literature to maintain specialist capabilities.

  • The position is designated as a Security Professional Education Development position. The incumbent must obtain certification within 24 months of assuming the position.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • SPeD certification/s must be maintained and undergo renewal process every two years in accordance with SECNAVINST 5500.38. Failure to obtain and maintain this condition of employment could result in disciplinary action and/or removal from employment
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5-8) or pay band (NT-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing administrative functions to support the operation of an organization's personnel security program.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05 to GS-11 or NT-02) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Administering an equal employment opportunity complaints program, to include counseling, investigation and adjudication of individual and class complaints of discrimination; 2) Research and operate testing equipment for locking systems and barriers used to protect National Security Information, Arms, Ammunitions & Explosives and other physical security equipment. 3.) Develop training plans and provide training instructions in physical security area; And 4) Deliver briefings, coordinate/conduct conferences, and discuss technical matters to reach agreement on matters necessary to accomplishment of the work.
