Continuing CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: A Key Position is a Federal position that cannot be vacated during a war, national emergency, or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the parent Federal Agency to function effectively. The employee must be removed from the Ready Reserve and CANNOT become a member of the Ready Reserve while assigned to this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of operations research principles, methodologies, and techniques, including mathematical modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis, to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
2. Skill in designing, developing, and applying mathematical models and simulations to evaluate operational concepts, assess mission performance, and support decision-making processes.
3. Ability to analyze large datasets, integrate data from multiple sources, and utilize advanced analytical tools to identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and provide actionable recommendations.
4. Knowledge of organizational missions, roles, and objectives, including defense and civil support operations to ensure alignment of analytical efforts with organizational priorities.
5. Skill in communicating complex technical information effectively, both orally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including high-level officials, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
6. Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate contributions from other professionals, and resolve conflicts to achieve consensus and accomplish project objectives.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
