Program Manager / Shipbuilding Program Manager (Part-Time)

Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Program Manager / Shipbuilding Program Manager (Part-Time) to support an upcoming bid effort for the U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Residence Office (PRO) located at the Austal USA Shipyard in Mobile, Alabama.

This position is contingent upon contract award. As part of our proposal process, selected candidates may be interviewed and asked to provide a resume and signed Letter of Commitment confirming availability in the event DecisionPoint is awarded the contract.

This position is onsite in Mobile, Alabama and requires an active Secret security clearance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide overall contract and project management support for OPC PRO operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and Government leadership.
• Oversee contractor personnel, staffing coordination, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support acquisition and ship construction program execution activities.
• Coordinate project planning, risk management, reporting, and performance oversight.
• Ensure continuity of support and successful execution of contractual requirements.
• Support meetings, program reviews, and executive-level communications.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience relevant to the PWS.
• Minimum of four (4) years in a project management role.
• Knowledge of ship construction processes required.
• Ability to manage schedules, personnel, deliverables, and contract performance activities.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
